Bud Vase by Tassia Castello: Clay for Tonga

Decorative vase made in a white speckled stoneware clay, measuring approx. 13cm tall and glazed with beautiful shades of purple, brown and navy blue. The inside of the vase is fully glazed, making it watertight and perfect for either fresh or dried flowers arrangements.

"I am a Brazilian artist who's been calling Australia home since 2010. After completing a short wheel throwing course back in 2019, I was instantly hooked on the world of pottery. The endless possibilities and outcomes of working with clay makes it such an engaging and forever enjoyable activity. There isn’t a day that goes by without me thinking about pottery and all the ideas and techniques I want to try.

My designs are inspired by happy, colourful and fun shapes. Working from a studio based in Sydney, Australia, I specialise in making unique wheel thrown décor and functional ceramic pieces, exploring with colours and textures."
