It's time to create your very own DRAGON!

Grab your capes, gather your adventuring party, and join us at Ye Olde Clay Sydney for a whimsical dragon making workshop.

In this 3 hour session, you’ll bring to life your very own ceramic gothic dragon under the guidance of Madi from Gargoyle Studio!

+ What you will make

Alongside your incredible tutor, you'll learn the ins and outs of sculptural design and be guided to mould and sculpt your beast.  The first half of the class will focus on structure to create the ideal shape and wild features of your dragon.  Later, we focus on colour!!  Utilising underglaze colours to add design, pattern, and colour to bring your beast to life.

This class includes your final item, which is fired and ready for you to pick up around 5 weeks later, dipped in a clear gloss glaze to make your pieces pop. Yes, they'll be dishwasher and microwave safe!

Please dress up!

Thou shall only be permitted if dressed appropriately (by which we mean princesses, wizards, elves, knights etc)…A prize will be awarded to our best dressed attendee!

BYO brews and potions! (Aka, BYO drinks, alcoholic or not!). Snacks are also more than welcome. However, please bring your own goblets … as cups/bottle openers/plates are not provided at the studio.
Please also bring your own apron if you’d like to avoid getting dirty, aprons are NOT provided by the studio.
