Join us for an exciting sculptural masterclass with Stephanie Phillips!

This masterclass is a great opportunity for ceramicists to take a deep dive into sculptural form building, learning to create unique forms through the popular coiling technique.  Think you know everything there is to know about coiling?  Think again!  Stephanie is here to show you the ropes and expand your handbuilding knowledge.

The workshop will be led by Stephanie Philips, whose work has been featured in Vogue Living, Belle, Habitus, Green, The Local Project, and Real Living Magazines.

+ Structure

In this 2 day workshop we will take you through concept development, form building and decoration.

Students will work on one piece throughout the course.  All students will finish with one unglazed form which we will fire and have ready for pickup approximately 5 weeks after the final class date.

+ Experience required

This class is ideal for folks who already have handbuilding experience, who have taken a 6 week handbuilding course (or equivalent elsewhere).

+ How do I book

This course will run for two days; on February 19th and 26th, 6:30-9:30pm. You must attend BOTH dates.

Please note: only the FIRST date of the session is listed on our booking calendar below.  You only need to book in for the first date of the session and you will be automatically signed up for both days. 

Class runs for two days.  Same day of the week, same time.  Sorry, if you can’t make it to a session, we’re not able to offer make-up classes, or switcheroos.
