This Porcelain by Keane is a great little workhorse, and loved by many. Although it's not particularly translucent compared to the wonderful Lumina, it makes up for it by being able to fit glazes better than it's showy big sister. The closer to cone 10 you can get this one the better. In oxidation, the body tends towards a warm (yet still very bright) white, and in reduction is that radiatingly white-white that's so characteristic of porcelains. Great porcelain to get started on and get used to the finickiness of the porcelaneous bodies, or for working where translucency isn't your main objective.
