Over three days 22-24th July 2025, You'll learn first hand from Moon Do Bang (Moon Byung Sik) at our Marrickville studio. 

The class covers Cylinder Making, Bowl Making, Foot Trimming and Moon Jars. Essentially, a deep dive into all things Moon Do Bang!

As this is a skills based workshop we won't be firing your work, but you are more than welcome to take it home to fire it, or pay for bisque. 

+ Lesson length

Classes run from 9am - 5pm with an hour for lunch on Tuesday 22nd-Thursday 24th July 2025. 

+ Some experience required

This class is ideal for folks who can comfortably centre a larger amount of clay - for example 2+ kg, and feel comfortable bringing this to a centred cylinder. The skills taught in this course are applicable to medium weights of clay and upwards. By no means are you expected to throw 20+kg to a moon jar - if you could you probably wouldn't need a course! 

+ Can I reschedule 

As we’re incurring high costs to run these courses, our cancellation/rescheduling policy is different than our other regular classes.  As such, we need to know exact numbers beforehand.  If for whatever reason you can no longer attend, we need to know, via EMAIL, 80 days in advance of the workshop start date. We will then place your ticket up for sale again on the Clay Sydney website. Should your ticket sell, we will refund your place, however, tickets with the 80 window are otherwise non-refundable.

RESALE OF TICKETS OUTSIDE THE CLAY SYDNEY WEBSITE IS PROHIBITED, AND WILL RESULT IN TICKET CANCELATION WITHOUT REFUND. Don't get scammed by non-official tickets. Only buy on this website.
